AI and Machine learning are hot topics in business and tech, but what are the implications for education? Beyond training students for the emerging jobs that involve these new technologies, what is their place in the classroom? We want to hear your thoughts and ideas for AI and machine learning in education!
On Tuesday, March 27th at 7:00 PM EDT, our special guest-hosts from The Knowledge Society, Humber River Hospital, and Fair Chance Learning will be connecting with educators across Canada for a Twitter chat to tackle these topics. Wherever you are across the country, mark your calendar and join us!
What are #MSFTEduChat TweetMeets?
Every month Microsoft in Education Canada organizes social events on Twitter for Canadian educators. The hashtag we use is #MSFTEduChat. A team of topic-specialists prepare and host these TweetMeets together. They craft questions around a certain topic and share them on Twitter. Then it's up to our digital attendees to strike up a conversation around the topic.
All you have to do is keep an eye on that hashtag and contribute any insights, ideas, or expertise. It's a great way to connect and learn!
We find the easiest way to keep on top of the conversation is by using TweetDeck. Our friend Marjolein Hoekstra created a quick tutorial to help her OneNote Education TweetMeet attendees. It's a great resource to help you follow the hashtag #MSFTEduChat during our TweetMeet!
We can't wait to hear what Canadian educators have to say about AI and machine learning. Join us on Twitter on Tuesday, March 27th at 7:00 PM EDT. If you have any questions, connect with the Microsoft in Education Canada team on Twitter by sending a message to @MicrosoftEduCA.
We'll see you at the chat!
